EuroBrake 2016 saw the second EuroBrake Student Innovation Competition, kindly sponsored by Daimler. Grand finalists came from around the world to present their ideas and vision on Autonomous Driving: Implications for Vehicle Braking Systems. Three top prizes were awarded during the Gala Dinner and the finalists enjoyed a Q&A session with industry and academia experts from Daimler, Toyota, FISITA and ZF TRW.

2017 promises to be an exciting year with a new Student Opportunities Programme being developed. Students are offered an opportunity to attend EuroBrake via a sponsorship package which will offer strong networking opportunities, a CV check/one to one career advice, access to the designated Students Lounge and much more. There will also be a student-focussed introductory lecture, access to the EuroBrake Dinner and invitation to attend the Strategy Panel.
